What it is

What is game animation?

A game trailer has one job: make people wishlist, buy or download. It has to show the world, the hook and the feeling of play in under ninety seconds, in a style that matches the game and a format that fits every store and feed.

We work with your builds, art and models. We can cut gameplay you capture, animate cinematics in 2D or 3D, and create characters and key art for the trailer and the store page, so everything launches looking like one game.

Use cases

Where animation earns its keep in Games

01

Announce it right

The first trailer sets expectations for everything that follows. It needs a clear hook in the first five seconds and a reason to wishlist at the end.

  • A hook before the five-second mark
  • The world, the mechanic and the mood
  • Clear call to wishlist, pre-order or download
  • Store, social and press versions
02

Make the cinematic

When gameplay cannot carry the story, a cinematic can. We animate in your art style, 2D or 3D, so the trailer feels like the game and not a separate film.

  • Story beats written with your narrative team
  • Characters and environments in your style
  • Music and sound design to match
  • Scenes reusable for intros and cutscenes
03

Fund the project

Crowdfunding and publisher pitches need a film that shows the idea at its best before the game exists. Animation fills the gaps the build cannot.

  • Pitch trailers for publishers and platforms
  • Crowdfunding campaign films
  • Character intros and world reveals
  • Updates as the build matures

Cost

What game animation costs

Every style has a published starting price by length, so you can plan before you call. These are the things that move the number for game projects:

  • Trailer length and the number of cut-downs
  • How much is animated versus captured gameplay
  • 2D, 3D or hand-drawn cel animation
  • Number of characters and environments to build
  • Music licensing or an original score
  • Store assets, loops and localisation

FAQ

Questions from Games teams

Can you cut a trailer from our gameplay captures?

Yes. Send captures from your build and we edit, grade, title and mix them. If some moments cannot be captured yet, we animate them to match.

Can you animate in our art style?

Yes. Send your style guide, concept art and models and we build the trailer in that look, in 2D, 3D or frame-by-frame animation.

Do you make store assets as well?

Yes. Logo stings, looping banners, screenshots with titles and short social loops can be made from the same project.

How long does a game trailer take?

It depends on how much is animated and how many versions you need. You get a written timeline with your estimate, planned around your announcement date.

Do you work under NDA before announcement?

Yes. We sign your NDA before you share builds, art or dates, and keep unannounced projects confidential.

How much does an animated video cost?

It depends on style and length. Motion graphics starts at $299 for 15 seconds and $899 for 60 seconds. A 60-second explainer starts at $1,699 and 60 seconds of 3D starts at $3,199. Every service page lists its prices by length.

How many revisions do I get?

Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope at each stage. Our terms explain exactly what that covers.
